Now is the time to excel and take advantage of opportunities our market presents us today. By putting in the little extra effort, you will separate yourself from the crowd even further and will be propelled quantum leaps ahead of the others in the business when the market shifts. In speaking with other brokers, attorneys, lenders, builders and reading what the media says, the market is not as good as we are experiencing. As I mentioned last week, our sales are up by 13.6% over last year. We are currently doing the right things to get these results; yet, I am challenging you to do a little more. Our attitude, approach to the business, and our will to be successful is what sets us apart from the others in the business today. But, as the saying goes, what have you done for me lately? I challenge you to step up and do just a little more. There is no better time to do it than NOW! Write one more note, do one more pop by, make one more phone call, add one more person to your database, see one more house, send out one more market update to a past client on a daily basis and you will see the results. Make a commitment to yourself to educate yourself on our market, attend an extra networking event, get an accountability partner, participate in our “mastermind” groups, and attend a seminar to set your self apart from others in the business. The more you do, the more you speak with people about our market, the easier it is to sound like an expert and the business will follow. If you sit back and wait for it to happen, you don’t get in front of people, wait for the market to change, wait for the phone to ring, wait for the media to change, you will be waiting in the unemployment line. As I always say, we are in a unique position to set our self apart from others in the business. Let’s widen our gap and continue to show others we are “Above the Crowd”!
