Spring has Sprung & so has the Market!

Finally the temperatures have started to rise and so have sales- in some locations. Yet, in some areas, the market still continues to be very sluggish with little to no showings. What can we as REALTORS do for our clients? For our sellers, continue to counsel them on price and condition. They are the keys to getting homes sold in today's finicky, price sensitive market. For our buyers, they need to know when you see the right property, they need to jump on it before mulitiple contracts come in because it is happening all over Northern Virginia. Educate yourself by previewing properties, staying on top of what is selling and why, and convey this to your clients. A recent slogan I heard is - You have to learn to earn! I couldn't agree more.

Don't be afraid, the market is different this year versus last year. As I have said in the past and will continue to say, we are more positive this year. Buyers are making decisions more quickly, and rates are still great, keep the right attitude and thoughts and you will be successful!

Always remember, the price of success is much lower than the price of failure.
